We will assign your category based upon your age, gender, and category selection you made.  We may combine CAT 1 and CAT 2 into one division.

What Category should we select?

  • Cat 3: Beginner - This is a great starting point - Riders are new to racing.

  • Cat 2: Sport - Racers who have had 3-5 CAT III top five results

  • Cat 1: Expert - Comfortable with any terrain including rocks, drops and jumps.

COVID: Please don’t come to the race sick.

WMBC and Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers, we always need help.  The event is a bike race, we would appreacite if people can avoid parking. Please drop off or ride from home.  Parking TBD based on event location. Public lots are available on both the North and South side of Galbraith Mtn.   WMBC has great information on being a mountain bike ambassador and helping to keep other trail users happy - want to help with parking, donate to WMBC!  We reserve the right to move the event date for inclement weather/hazards to help keep the trails in shape.  We want to be good trail stewards.

We are so excited to offer this to the youth MTB riders in Bellingham! Bring a friend to ride with! And an adult to cheer you on!

We reccomend additional insurance, USA Cycling has a great option here:  https://usacycling.getspot.com/
